DISPATCH DESK / CASH CONTROL

Driver Cash & Advances

Company advances and customer COD are separate cash accounts

Two accounts. No automatic offsets. Merchant pickup payments spend company advances only. Customer COD must be handed to the warehouse in full for each parcel. Earnings stay in Payroll; neither cash balance is driver income. This testing app uses a shared dispatcher login; operator names are self-reported.

Current driver balances

Unspent advances are separate from customer cash waiting for warehouse receipt.

Company advance / merchant payment

Confirm the physical operation. Give each receipt/payment its own reference.

Receive customer COD at warehouse

The receiving driver is read from the parcel’s delivery proof. Never subtract merchant payments here.

This milestone records full-parcel handovers. For several parcels, record each parcel separately under its receipt reference. Zero closes a prepaid parcel’s cash record without receiving money.

Merchant money already advanced on undelivered parcels

These payments remain recorded even if a delivery fails or is cancelled. Reconcile any merchant refund explicitly.

Balances and reversals record confirmed operations; they do not move money. Physical stock returns do not reverse merchant cash payments, and advances are not operating expenses or delivery revenue.
